Have you ever heard about it? A Bookwheel!
This is a bookwheel (also called a "reading wheel"), an early rotating reading device designed to let scholars consult multiple heavy books at once without having to move them.
It's the today's equivalent of Chrome tabs.
The design comes from Agostino Ramelli, an Italian engineer, who published it in 1588. So the concept is more than 430 years old.
